U.S. Palestinian Council (USPC) Proudly Endorses Kat Abughazaleh for Illinois’ 9th Congressional District
CHICAGO, IL — Today, the U.S. Palestinian Council (USPC), a national organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and dignity of Palestinian Americans and their homeland, officially announces its endorsement of Kat Abughazaleh for the U.S. House of Representatives in Illinois’ 9th District.
As a Palestinian-American and the granddaughter of two Nakba survivors, Kat Abughazaleh brings a unique and necessary voice to the halls of Congress. Her candidacy represents a generational shift toward a foreign policy that prioritizes human rights, international law, and the fundamental principle that all lives have equal value.
“Kat Abughazaleh is the fighter our community needs at this critical moment in history,” said John Dabeet, President of the USPC. “Kat understands that U.S. tax dollars should fund healthcare and education at home, not the destruction of families abroad.
